2017 project.

Primrose Hill, February 2017. Sunrise

Primrose Hill ‘I waited for the perfect frosty day, jumped up at dawn, and headed over there with my husband Frank. Waited for the most spectacular sunset with freezing hands among a gaggle of photographers.’

I usually start with photographs, then move further into where I can bring a little more to the party in the drawing and the print process.

The way I print the sky means that no two prints are the same. There is a variation of mark making and colour between each print in the edition. The layers on top of the sky are all consistent. I like this loose way of working as it reflects the changes that a sky may go through and nods back to my motion graphics background.
